More On Why You Need To Adapt A Caveman Diet…

I just came across a story of a Dr. Terry Wahls who had stage 2 Multiple Sclerosis and barely able to walk when she started studying the effects food have on her body.

She took what she learned and developed a diet consisting of:

Greens: to supply Vitamins B, A, C, K and minerals to the body but also reduce the risk of cataracts and macular degenration.

To support brain, mitochondria and toxin removal, she added foods with Sulfur to her diet, such as cabbage, onions / garlic / leeks, and mushrooms.

She also added vegetables and fruits with colors in her foods. Brightly colored foods add flavenoid and polyphenols (these are anti-oxidants) that will support your retinas, mitochondria and toxin removals.

In order to support brain function, she introduced Wild Fish and Grass-fed meats (including organ meat) to her diet, which will give you Omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and Coeznyme Q (in organ meat).

And finally, she introduced Seaweed in particular to get enough Iodine into her diet. Iodine has shown to support brain function, aid in toxin removal and reduce cancer risks.

She also makes a point of removing corn, diary and grain based products from the diet since they have shown to cause a wide range of health issues.

So, what’s the point of all this?

It virtually cured her of Multiple Sclerosis.

It’s interesting to see that the hunter gather type of diet is what restored her body…

They are now studying the effects of proper diet (using the hunter gatherer / caveman style ideas) with other MS patients and are seeing astounding results.
